LRR Branch
Established in 1990, the Long Range Rifles Branch of the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain (MLAGB) held its first competitions at Bisley that year; a 600 yard match for Whitworth rifles and a 1,000 yard Championship for any muzzle loading rifle. Since then a comprehensive programme has been established for percussion muzzle loading military, military match and full match rifles, usually commencing at 600 yards.

The Branch arranges many of its events to tie in with the MLAGB series of mid and long range National Rifle Championship Matches at Bisley. This enables full weekends of shooting to be arranged incorporating a social meeting and occasional informal lectures. Unlike regional Branches of the MLAGB, Long Range Rifles draws its membership from throughout the UK, and also includes members in France and Holland. The Branch Annual General Meeting is usually held in August and the Annual Dinner and Prize Giving in October.
